Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Event Planner to specialize in designing and executing engaging virtual and hybrid events. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise from anywhere. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing, planning, and managing a wide range of online events, from large-scale conferences and trade shows to intimate webinars and team-building activities. The Senior Event Planner will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, target audience, and desired outcomes, translating these into seamless and impactful virtual experiences. Responsibilities include selecting appropriate virtual event platforms, managing speaker coordination, developing engaging content strategies, and overseeing technical production elements. You will be responsible for creating detailed event timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring a high level of attendee engagement and satisfaction. Experience with virtual event technologies, engagement tools, and production workflows is essential. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and technology partners, to deliver cohesive and memorable events. Key Responsibilities: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a variety of virtual and hybrid events, including conferences, webinars, product launches, and internal meetings. Manage all logistical aspects of virtual events, from platform selection and configuration to agenda development and speaker management. Develop engaging content strategies and interactive elements to maximize attendee participation and impact. Oversee technical production aspects, ensuring smooth streaming, audio-visual quality, and platform functionality. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event goals and deliver tailored virtual experiences. Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-efficiency. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and run-of-show documents for each event. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g., AV technicians, platform providers) to ensure seamless execution. Analyze event performance data and provide post-event reports with insights and recommendations for future events. Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in virtual event planning and engagement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning, with a significant focus on virtual or hybrid events. Proven experience managing complex virtual events from conception to completion. In-depth knowledge of various virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Hopin, Cvent, Bizzabo) and engagement tools. Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills. Experience managing event budgets and negotiating with vendors. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment. Portfolio of successful virtual events managed is highly desirable.
