We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Fleet Operations Dispatcher to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This critical role ensures the efficient and safe movement of our fleet by coordinating drivers, monitoring vehicle locations, and responding to operational needs in real-time. You will be responsible for optimizing routes, managing schedules, and communicating effectively with drivers and other stakeholders to maintain seamless logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional multitasking skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a strong understanding of transportation logistics and dispatch systems.

Responsibilities: Coordinate and dispatch drivers for daily routes, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries. Monitor fleet activity using GPS tracking and fleet management software, providing real-time support to drivers. Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs. Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, traffic conditions, and any unforeseen issues. Respond promptly to operational emergencies, incidents, or customer service issues, implementing solutions quickly and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of driver activities, vehicle status, and delivery information. Collaborate with management, maintenance teams, and other departments to ensure operational continuity. Assist in training new dispatchers and provide guidance to junior team members. Identify and report potential issues with drivers, vehicles, or routes that may impact operations. Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies. Generate operational reports on key metrics such as on-time performance, mileage, and fuel efficiency. Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatch processes and technologies. Manage communication channels to ensure clear and concise information flow. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation dispatch or fleet operations management. Proven experience with fleet management software and GPS tracking systems (e.g., Samsara, Verizon Connect, Geotab). Strong understanding of logistics principles, routing optimization, and scheduling. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Proficiency in using communication tools (phones, radios, messaging apps). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Experience working independently in a remote setting. Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
