ABOUT YOU

As a Remote Terminal Manager, you bring a steady, service oriented leadership approach to managing complex, highly visible environments, balancing safety, operational excellence, and customer experience with sound judgment and composure. You are proactive and situationally aware, anticipating issues before they escalate and making confident decisions in both routine and high pressure circumstances. Through clear communication and strong relationship building, you collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to align priorities, maintain trust, and ensure seamless operations. Guided by accountability, inclusivity, and pride in public stewardship, you understand that maintaining safe, accessible, and well managed facilities directly shapes public confidence and the overall passenger journey.

What you will do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of remote terminals, ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless environments that minimize impacts to customers, tenants, and surrounding communities.
  • Oversee daily terminal operations to deliver a high-quality customer experience from arrival at parking facilities through bus boarding and departure.
  • Provide visible oversight of facilities, construction, and maintenance activities, proactively addressing risks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, accessibility, and appearance.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison among internal Massport teams, TSA, bus operators, airline staff, State Police, and external stakeholders to coordinate communication, planning, and operational improvements.
  • Work independently to exercise sound judgment and lead responses to irregular operations and emergencies, resolving issues across stakeholders while prioritizing safety, continuity, and customer experience.

What you offer:

  • Five (5) years of experience required in an airport terminal environment, airline, related aviation setting, or similar operation.  
  • Minimum of three (3) years in a supervisory position or highly autonomous role. 
  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent operational experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, coordinate across multiple groups, and operate effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn and navigate additional computer-based and web-based systems.
