[Remote] Test Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Test Engineer to perform automated testing on various telephony and networking hardware. The role involves executing test scripts, analyzing results, and documenting findings to support research and development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms
• Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts
• Analyze large log data sets and software test data while documenting results in a clear and concise manner

Skills

• 1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to perform system testing, and analyzing results
• Experience creating test cases and procedures
• Experience developing with Python
• Experience working within a DevOps environment
• Experience using Python testing frameworks, including PyTest, unittest, nose2, doctest, Robot, tox, or hypothesis
• Knowledge of integrating testing processes into continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ability to test multiple lab environments following formal testing methods and manage discrepancy reports identified during testing
• Ability to perform system testing in support of various development efforts
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
• Experience developing and building multiple lab environments
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience working with GIT
• Knowledge of Splunk
• Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration frameworks
