Position Overview

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Analytics Manager to lead our paid media analytics initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our paid media analysis capabilities to surface data-driven strategic opportunities for the Executive Leadership team. Your work will focus on optimizing paid media spend globally, identifying efficiency improvements, and developing comprehensive reporting frameworks that drive measurable business outcomes.

This is a part-time position offering competitive compensation of $27 per hour, with the flexibility of remote work arrangements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, managing ambiguity, and delivering high-quality analytical insights that inform key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As an Analytics Manager at arenaflex, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into strategic recommendations. Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Reporting and Insights Delivery: Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reporting and insights in the area of paid media. Create dashboards, scorecards, and KPI tracking mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into campaign performance and ROI.

  • Analytics Infrastructure Development: Plan, build, and lead the development of analysis, business intelligence, and data science initiatives aimed at optimizing paid media performance and improving marketing efficiencies across all channels.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with paid media data science teams and marketing teams to implement sophisticated media mix models that maximize advertising effectiveness and budget allocation.

  • Ad-Hoc Investigation: Conduct special investigations through database querying, followed by insightful interpretation of results. Document and communicate recommendations that drive actionable outcomes and improve business performance.

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and data product teams to address complex business challenges. Track marketing and product performance using a data-driven approach to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.

  • Tool Utilization: Leverage SQL, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Excel, and other reporting tools to create and maintain scheduled and ad-hoc reports that support various business units and stakeholders.

  • Data Analysis and Root Cause Investigation: Analyze data to identify business issues, trends, and patterns. Conduct deep-dive analyses to perform root cause investigation and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Insight Generation: Partner with stakeholders to utilize internal and external data sources, including market research and advertising agency data, to address complex business challenges and deliver actionable insights.

  • Customer Behavior Analysis: Conceptualize and execute analyses that generate insights on customer behavior and needs, supporting the continuous development and improvement of our value proposition.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:


  • Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Consulting within an e-commerce environment or related field. A strong track record of delivering data-driven insights that impact business decisions.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL experience is required, with the ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets efficiently.

  • Visualization Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least one industry-leading analysis and statistics visualization tool such as Tableau, QuickSight, or PowerBI. Experience creating compelling visual narratives from complex data sets.

  • Excel Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, pivot tables, VBA, and data modeling. A proven history of using Excel for business analysis and reporting.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, Economics, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or another related field from an accredited institution.
