 The Opportunity: Senior Road Claims Representative (Winnipeg)
 
As a Senior Road Claims Representative, you’ll make a meaningful impact by helping customers recover from unexpected losses through:

<li style="margin-right: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; margin-left: 0px;">Leading on-site investigations to assess fire, water, and weather claims, while gathering details, securing statements, and reviewing scopes to build a complete picture of loss.</li>
<li style="margin-right: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; margin-left: 0px;">Taking ownership of claims by evaluating coverage, determining eligibility, and guiding customers and brokers through clear, empathetic communication – both verbally and in writing.</li>
<li style="margin-right: 0cm; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; margin-left: 0px;">Partnering with service providers and customers to deliver timely, fair, and satisfactory resolutions.</li>

What You’ll Do:

<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Contact the insured to discuss loss details and arrange inspection appointment. </li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Attend loss scene to confirm facts of loss through various investigation methods.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Work with policyholder to explain claims process to ensure efficient claims experience.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Secure statements with policyholders, third parties, independent witnesses as necessary.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Secure photographs and diagrams of loss scenes.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Collect evidence to preserve subrogation as necessary.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Engage experts (engineers, appraisers, etc.) as needed to assist in determining facts. </li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Evaluate liability and identify subrogation opportunities. </li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Identify salvage opportunities and ensure efficient disposal.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Obtain officials reports- policy, fire and medical providers.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Obtain details of overall risk and relay any potential hazards/concerns to underwriting.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Participate in round table reviews and audit activities when requested to support quality and compliance initiatives.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Handle high‑value and/or complex claims as assigned, ensuring thorough analysis and appropriate resolution, as required.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members as required.</li>

What You’ll Bring:

<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Consistent accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px; line-height: normal; font-size: 10pt; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.</li>

 The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is: 
Canada – Manitoba: $76,600 - $95,800 CAD / Annual 
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role and level. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
