The Analyst, Capital Markets Sales Support Middle Office role is an entry-level position focused on supporting the front office in trade lifecycle management and operational controls within Derivative Operations.


Responsibilities

  • Review trade booking to ensure transactions are captured accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform end-of-day validation and completeness checks under supervision, escalating discrepancies as needed
  • Assist with monitoring third-party platforms (e.g., MarkitWire, ICE) and internal systems for trade status and confirmations
  • Support the processing of trade allocations, affirmations, and lifecycle events
  • Assist in identifying trade breaks and support cancel and correct activity with appropriate escalation
  • Provide support to senior team members on trade, settlement, and client-related inquiries
  • Assist with client onboarding activities, including coordination with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Credit, Tax, and KYC
  • Support investigations into sales credit discrepancies and assist with data gathering and reporting
  • Assist in testing activities related to system enhancements and process improvements
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining daily procedures and documentation
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks
  • Participate in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives as part of professional development

Skills

  • 0–2 years of experience in a financial services, operations, or support role
  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Demonstrated interest in Capital Markets, derivatives, or financial products
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Willingness to learn complex systems, workflows, and regulatory requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
