The SBA Disbursement Coordinator plays a key role in managing SBA-backed loan disbursements, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy while collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate timely funding.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Bank’s 'People First' focus and rules of engagement—maintaining a professional demeanor, working as an active member of the CNOB team, providing clients excellent service, always striving to make CNOB 'A Better Place to Be'
  • Process SBA 7(a), 504, and SBA Express loans from initial disbursement through full funding
  • Set up and maintain construction and multi-advance loan disbursement files, ensuring all documentation meets SBA, CNOB, and regulatory standards
  • Review, analyze, and disburse loan draws in accordance with guidelines, securing required approvals from management
  • Collect, track, and maintain required insurance documentation; process updates or modifications as needed
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready loan files to support quality control, internal audits, and SBA compliance reviews
  • Order and review third-party inspection reports and title endorsements; resolve discrepancies with borrowers, contractors, title companies, or internal stakeholders
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for borrowers and vendors throughout the disbursement process
  • Support SBA Operations with additional duties and special projects as assigned

Skills

  • Strong “People First” interest and ability
  • Strong understanding of SBA 7(a), 504, and SBA Express loan programs
  • Experience with construction lending, multi-advance disbursements, or loan servicing preferred
  • Familiarity with collateral perfection requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain audit-ready files
  • Ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve issues with borrowers and vendors
  • Minimum 1-3 years of SBA experience
  • High attention to detail capable of identifying discrepancies in documentation
