This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Compliance & Ethics and offers a competitive hourly rate of $30 per hour with full-time employment benefits. What You'll Do at arenaflex

As a Senior Analyst in our Specialty Compliance & Ethics division, you will serve as the subject matter expert for all matters related to Direct Imports. Your responsibilities will span across regulatory adherence, documentation management, process improvement, and strategic guidance. Here's what you can expect to accomplish in this role:


  • Ensure U.S. Customs Compliance: Maintain rigorous compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, as well as other cooperating government agencies. You will be responsible for assigning proper harmonized tariff codes and determining accurate duty percentages for all Direct Import merchandise entering the United States.

  • Documentation Management: Identify, compile, and maintain all required documentation to guarantee that imported goods are legally admissible into the United States. This includes commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and any specialized permits or licenses required for specific product categories.

  • International Regulatory Adherence: Ensure full compliance with international customs and regulatory authorities across all global sourcing regions. You will work closely with our international procurement teams to maintain compliance standards across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Policy Development: Create, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures that ensure legal application to affected items and purchase orders. Your work will directly influence how arenaflex manages regulatory risk across the organization.

  • Regulatory Research: Conduct thorough research on proposed regulatory rules and existing guidelines to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) to the business. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams.

  • Vendor Guidance: Provide expert guidance to vendors and/or international sourcing teams to support accurate costing decisions. Your insights will help ensure financial accuracy and prevent costly compliance errors.

  • Gap Analysis & Improvement: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify compliance and ethics gaps, then recommend and develop enhancements to close those gaps. Your proactive approach will strengthen arenaflex's compliance infrastructure.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work seamlessly with teams across procurement, logistics, finance, and legal to ensure unified compliance outcomes. Your ability to collaborate across cultural boundaries will be essential to success.

Key Qualifications We’re Looking For

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:


  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in Data Entry roles, demonstrating a track record of high project completion rates and accuracy.

  • Technical Proficiency: At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products, with advanced proficiency in Excel being essential. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, creating complex spreadsheets, and utilizing data visualization tools.

  • Import Expertise: Minimum 3 years of direct experience in import operations, customs compliance, or international trade logistics.

  • Tariff Classification Knowledge: Prior experience working with harmonized tariff codes (HTS codes) is highly valued. Understanding of tariff classification principles and their application to imported goods is essential.

  • Project Management: Any project management experience is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously are critical.
