As a Senior Client General Manager at arenaflex, you will serve as the primary strategic contact for our most prestigious Media and Entertainment clients. This role goes beyond traditional account management—you will become an indispensable partner in our clients' success, understanding their creative visions and operational needs, and crafting travel solutions that enable them to bring their stories to life.

This position is fully virtual, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home office anywhere in the United States or Canada. However, we do require that you maintain East Coast business hours to ensure seamless collaboration with our clients, internal teams, and global partners. Additionally, you should be prepared to travel approximately 25-30% of the time to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in strategic planning sessions.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Client General Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth, innovation, and exceptional client experiences. Your days will be filled with strategic thinking, relationship building, and problem-solving as you work to deliver measurable value to our entertainment clients. Here's what you can expect:


  • Strategic Client Partnership: Develop deep, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across your assigned entertainment clients. You'll become an extension of their team, understanding their strategic objectives, organizational culture, and business goals. This isn't about selling services—it's about genuinely caring about their success and finding ways to make their travel programs more efficient, cost-effective, and traveler-friendly.
  • Innovation and Solution Development: The entertainment industry presents unique travel challenges that require creative thinking. You'll identify unique travel needs for news teams, sports organizations, film and television productions, and develop innovative solutions that enhance productivity and improve the traveler experience. From coordinating last-minute travel for breaking news to managing complex itineraries for international film productions, you'll be the creative problem-solver they rely on.
  • Business Growth and Retention: You'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities within your client portfolio, driving client and traveler satisfaction, and retaining and growing some of our most important accounts. Your ability to understand client needs, anticipate trends, and propose value-added solutions will be key to your success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Global Business Consulting, Client Services, Service Delivery, Implementations, Meetings & Events, and Global Client Group teams to deliver comprehensive solutions. You'll build a network of influence across multiple levels within client organizations and among affiliate studios working with our clients on specific productions.
  • Strategic Planning and Analysis: Create and execute strategic account plans focused on identifying groundbreaking business opportunities. You'll leverage data analysis, market intelligence, and competitive benchmarking to demonstrate value, drive savings, increase retention, and optimize overall program performance.
  • Financial Management: Lead business planning, quarterly and annual reviews, regional pricing strategies, and ongoing profit and loss management for your accounts. Strong financial acumen is essential to understanding the key drivers of profitability and communicating the value arenaflex brings to our clients.
  • Market Intelligence: Research the marketplace and competitor products and services to highlight the distinctions that set arenaflex apart. You'll use market intelligence, benchmarking, and technology insights as critical value drivers in your client conversations.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Represent arenaflex to Media and Entertainment prospects as a subject matter expert. You'll participate in industry events, conferences, and client presentations, positioning arenaflex as the premier choice for entertainment travel management.

  • Proven Success: Demonstrable positive results in global account management, client management, or project management. You should have a track record of building strong client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Entertainment Experience: Direct experience with or knowledge of Media and Entertainment Travel. Understanding the unique demands of entertainment travel—including production schedules, talent coordination, location logistics, and breaking news response—is highly valued.
  • Growth Mindset: Proven success in upselling products, services, and solutions that increase client revenue and profitability. You should be comfortable identifying opportunities to expand relationships and demonstrate the value of additional services.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies, build action plans, and set goals. You should be comfortable working with ambiguity and turning vision into actionable plans.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: The ability to develop creative solutions addressing the unique and often unusual needs of entertainment travel. No two days are the same in this industry, and we need someone who can think on their feet.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills, including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions. You'll be negotiating contracts, service agreements, and daily operational issues.
  • Communication Excellence: A sophisticated range of communication and presentation skills. You should be comfortable presenting to C-suite executives, crafting compelling proposals, and communicating complex information clearly.
  • Quick Learning: Demonstrated ability to quickly learn, understand, and articulate key product and value proposition knowledge in a variety of contexts. The travel industry is constantly evolving, and we need someone who stays ahead of the curve.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen required to leverage the key drivers of profitability and communicate business value to clients.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions that improve client outcomes.
  • Travel Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Global Business Travel marketplace and Travel Operations. Knowledge of Business Travel Service Delivery and Client Management is essential.
  • Technology Proficiency: Solid understanding of Business Travel Service Delivery technology, tools, and processes. Advanced software skills (MS Office) are required.
