What You'll Do: Responsibilities That Shape the Future

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be at the forefront of our technical evolution. Your contributions will directly impact how we build, deploy, and scale our services. Here's what you can expect:

• Architecture and Execution: You'll be responsible for architecting and executing flexible cloud-native solutions with a strong emphasis on container technologies. You'll design systems that are resilient, scalable, and ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
• Platform Excellence: Take ownership of infrastructure management and development across the organization. Set the bar for production-grade standards that others will follow. Your code will be the benchmark for quality and reliability.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and optimize the registration platform and gateway technologies based on organizational requirements. Steer the organization toward adopting cutting-edge tools and technologies that drive efficiency and performance.

What We're Looking For: Skills and Qualifications

Essential Experience and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong foundation in modern infrastructure engineering. We need someone who lives and breathes cloud-native technologies and can translate complex requirements into elegant solutions:

• Container Orchestration: Minimum experience in the container orchestration space, with deep expertise in Kubernetes and familiarity with tools of the cloud-native ecosystem.
• Programming Proficiency: Mastery with programming using a high-level language – including design principles and writing idiomatic code. You should understand not just how to write code, but how to write code that others can maintain and build upon.
• Platform Engineering: Experience with Infrastructure Platform Standards and solutioning using automation. You should be comfortable building self-service platforms that empower other teams.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, specifically with managing multiple accounts and geographies. Multi-account cloud architecture should be familiar territory.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with an IaC tool – including managing it at the scale of an organization with multiple teams. Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools should be in your toolkit.
• Networking and Linux: Experience with Networking and Linux – including protocols, sniffing, and network design. You need to understand how traffic flows through systems and how to optimize that flow.
• Documentation: Experience writing great documentation – with an emphasis on clarity and concision. Great engineers document their work so others can build on it.
• Leadership and Influence: Leadership experience in building consensus for proposed architecture solutions. You should be able to persuade and align stakeholders around technical decisions.
• Mentorship: Tutoring experience in enlarging and empowering learning opportunities for junior colleagues. You'll help grow the next generation of infrastructure engineers.

Preferred Education and Background

• Technical degree (B.E./B.Tech/Masters) in Computer Science from a reputed institution or related technical discipline


• Multiple years of experience in infrastructure and automation


• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices


• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability platforms
