Posted 2026-05-05Join the arenaflex Team: Build the Future of Global Logistics Infrastructure
Are you ready to shape the physical foundation of one of the world's most innovative companies? At arenaflex, our legendary customer experience is built upon a network of state-of-the-art Fulfillment Centers that represent the pinnacle of modern logistics engineering. We're seeking an experienced and driven Construction Manager to join our North American Construction team and play a pivotal role in expanding our world-class fulfillment infrastructure across the United States.
This is more than a construction job—it's an opportunity to build the facilities that enable millions of customers to receive their orders faster, more reliably, and more efficiently than ever before. As a Construction Manager at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of new Fulfillment Center construction, as well as renovations and capacity improvements at existing facilities. You'll serve as arenaflex's direct representative and primary point of interface with developers, general contractors, and the cross-functional teams responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our facilities.
This remote position offers the unique combination of construction engineering, strategic planning, project management, facilities management, and contract administration. You'll have the freedom to work independently while being supported by one of the most advanced and forward-thinking organizations in the world. Frequent travel to job sites throughout the entire US will be required, giving you the opportunity to see your impact materialize across the country.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will be at the forefront of arenaflex's physical infrastructure expansion. Your responsibilities will span the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through final turnover. Here's what you can expect:
- Project Leadership: Manage the construction of new Fulfillment Centers throughout the US, as well as renovations and capacity improvements within existing facilities. You'll oversee projects ranging from smaller renovations to massive, $100M+ new facility builds.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support construction scope review and development with internal technical teams and operational customers to facilitate engineering and design efforts on new and remodel projects.
- Independent Regional Management: Work independently in your assigned regional area with minimal direction from leadership, exercising sound judgment and proactive problem-solving.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, specifications, and technical analyses to fully define design requirements, equipment, and services needed for capacity expansion and remodel projects.
- Engineering Oversight: Provide technical direction concerning engineering design, AutoCAD, building design, layouts, build details, schedules, and materials in accordance with North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) design parameters.
- Facility Assessment: Survey facilities, develop and document procedures to audit existing infrastructure, provide evaluations and analysis, and recommend solutions to facility infrastructure, safety, and security challenges.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and contract changes with developers and general contractors, presenting formal documentation for approval when required. Ensure that contracts are fit for purpose, cost-effective, and incorporate appropriate Service Level Agreements.
- Site Management: Provide overall site management, coordination, planning, specification of business proposals, and coordination of subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess project performance through Key Performance Indicators for safety, quality, cost, schedule, and sustainability.
- Team Coaching: Coach and guide all project teams—including developers, design engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders—throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Design Review: Review designs and ongoing construction for conformance to current building specifications. Provide critical review of current design standards to identify value engineering and design enhancement opportunities.
- Budget Management: Perform comprehensive budget tracking, forecasting, and management of assigned expansion, remodel, and new build projects. Review, analyze, and approve or reject proposed cost and time change requests.
- Regulatory Navigation: Lead or assist in negotiations with appropriate regulatory bodies and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) entities as required.
- Communication Excellence: Maintain positive, clear, concise, and transparent cross-team communication for all aspects of project delivery.
Travel Requirement: This role is remote and will include upwards of 60% travel regionally, with the potential of traveling to all North America locations based on business needs.
