Position Overview

As the Senior Data Analyst – Customer Analytics at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing the future state of our data and information architecture. This position is critical to supporting our Customer Solutions organization and advancing our strategic objectives. You will be responsible for enterprise-wide customer insights, pricing analytics, and Business Intelligence solutions that empower our business leaders and sales teams with the information they need to make informed decisions.

Your expertise will help elevate arenaflex's approach to customer data, providing sophisticated analytics that support business strategy development, opportunity identification, negotiation preparation, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. What You Will Do

As a Senior Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that span strategic planning and hands-on technical implementation. Your daily activities will include:

• Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with the Customer Solutions team to drive increased data literacy and foster widespread adoption of data-driven insights throughout the organization.


• Analytics Leadership: Support the creation of data-driven tactical and strategic direction, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders at all levels.


• Innovation Development: Collaborate with Customer Solutions teams to develop new analytics tools and insights that address evolving business needs and uncover hidden opportunities.


• Visualization Excellence: Build sophisticated Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to specific business requirements, ensuring clarity and usability for end users.


• Data Translation: Transform contract and pricing data into digestible, visually compelling reports and dashboards that stakeholders can easily interpret and act upon.


• Issue Resolution: Investigate reporting issues with precision and provide expert guidance to resolve challenges in a timely manner, minimizing disruption to business operations.


• Usage Monitoring: Monitor the utilization of reports and dashboards to gauge their value and identify opportunities to increase adoption across supported business units.


• Insight Generation: Work efficiently with large datasets to derive meaningful insights that drive business performance and competitive advantage.


• Technical Execution: Create and modify custom SQL queries for complex data pulls, ensuring accuracy and optimal performance.

What You Need

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.


• Minimum of 4+ years of data analysis and reporting experience, demonstrating progressive responsibility and technical growth.


• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis, sorting, cleansing, reporting, and other advanced methods is required.


• Proven experience building and developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions is required.


• Basic data modeling skills and fundamental core database concepts are required.


• Demonstrated experience presenting written and verbal communications, including explanation of complex data and insights, to both business and technical leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.


• Strong statistical analysis skills with the ability to apply appropriate analytical techniques to business questions.


• Experience with database management and optimization.
