About the Voice of Customer Program

At arenaflex, we take customer feedback seriously. Our Customer Listening Team manages the complete Voice of the Customer technique—a sophisticated system that collects, analyzes, and transforms customer feedback into actionable insights. This program covers our Consumer, Business, and Service Provider segments, processing over 5 million surveys each year.

As the Senior Data Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in evolving this program. You'll help design and maintain new VoC systems sourced from our Cornerstone platform, integrated seamlessly with Qualtrics—our premier survey and dashboard solution. Your work will directly influence how we understand and serve millions of customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect Data Solutions: Design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal data processing and standardized metric definitions across all customer feedback channels.
• Collaborate with Business Teams: Work closely with application teams to define, structure, and capture business requirements, translating them into technical deliverables that drive measurable outcomes.
• Lead Big Data Initiatives: Enable big data and batch/real-time analytical solutions using transformational technologies including Hadoop, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark, and Python to deliver innovative solutions that ensure data quality and accuracy through intensive testing at variable and use-case levels.
• Drive Innovation: Proactively identify and automate manual tasks to improve quality and efficiency across the Voice of Customer workflow.
• Mentor and Guide: Offer guidance to enhance competencies that drive efficiency in computing programs using the massive data ecosystem.
• Power Insights Generation: Lead consumer story analysis and elaboration, design and development of software programs, and build automation tools that transform raw data into strategic insights.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with partners from across the organization to prioritize, define, develop, and test data for various use cases as part of the VoC end-to-end technique.
• Platform Management: Support the development and maintenance of the new Voice of Customer technique sourced from Cornerstone, integrated with the Survey and Dashboard platform hosted through Qualtrics.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you'll need:

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on development experience with Hive/Hadoop, PySpark, Python, and Shell scripting languages with a minimum of 3 years in data-driven projects.
• Delivery Management: Strong understanding of development launch management and troubleshooting for data-intensive projects.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Experience actively collaborating with relationship managers and product owners to understand functional requirements and convert them into technical deliverables.
• Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies where small increments of a product are introduced at regular intervals to business groups.
• Data Architecture Skills: Proven ability to design and build robust data model architectures that support optimal processing and standardized definitions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time streaming data processing and analytics


• Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and services


• Background in customer experience or Voice of Customer programs


• Experience with Qualtrics or similar survey platforms


• Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks


• Experience in international, multi-cultural environments
