We're currently seeking a Senior Data Scientist who will lead, analyze, and specialize in broad datasets, creating top-tier meaningful business experiences through advanced predictive models across both physical retail and digital commerce platforms.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Data Scientist at arenaflex, you'll be a mentor to the Data Science team, providing technical expertise and guiding research projects while fostering cross-functional collaboration to meet internal client information needs. You'll lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Analysts, Technical Partners, and Business Leaders to establish an improvement roadmap based on business needs.

• Provide leadership and set strategic vision and direction for the data science team, focused on Omni-Channel analysis across both physical retail and e-commerce


• Lead cross-functional teams, collaborating with Analysts, Technical Partners, and Business Leaders to establish an improvement roadmap based on business needs


• Translate business requirements into precise product specifications to guide development


• Lead solution architecture sessions, aligning strategies with business drivers, challenges, and long-term goals


• Design efficient data pipelines to address business problems, using technical tools and retail systems


• Set and execute Data Science team best practices and lead code reviews for team members


• Create compelling visuals, charts, and graphs that resonate with data, adapting them to different audiences


• Use advanced analytics techniques (regression, machine learning, clustering) to drive actionable insights

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience developing Analysis, Statistical, or AI models to extract insights and address business challenges, ideally in a retail setting


• Proficiency in web analytics and visitor segmentation using data to drive informed decisions and improve online experiences


• Experience leading small teams in rapid and accurate data analysis, feature definition, and innovative problem-solving for business challenges


• Expertise in working on intricate issues, developing data-driven stories for decision-making


• Cloud platform/tech proficiency


• Proficiency in AI or machine learning techniques


• Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis


• Effectiveness in fast-paced, changing environments


• Strong interpersonal skills for effective team and individual communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of various project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, scrum)
