The Opportunity: Senior Financial Analyst

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our arenaflex Parks, Experiences, and Products (PEP) team as a Senior Financial Analyst.

In this role, you'll be positioned at the intersection of finance and innovation, working closely with business leaders across multiple verticals to analyze performance, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations that directly impact our ability to deliver magical experiences to our guests. You'll have the unique opportunity to support diverse business units including theme park attractions, hotel operations, live entertainment, food and beverage, cruise line operations, retail stores, special events, consumer products, and much more.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Financial Analyst on our Florida Finance team, no two days will be exactly alike. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects that span the full spectrum of our Parks, Experiences, and Products business. Here's what you can expect:

• Collaborate with Business Partners: You'll work closely with operational leaders, senior executives, and cross-functional teams across the organization to assess financial results, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations.


• Support Planning & Forecasting: You'll play a key role in annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range business planning processes, providing analytical support and financial guidance to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.


• Conduct Special Projects: You'll lead and support ad-hoc investigations and analyses addressing complex business questions, ranging from pricing strategies to new attraction feasibility studies.


• Create Executive Presentations: You'll develop detailed analyses and executive-ready presentations that communicate financial insights, performance trends, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including VPs and Senior VPs.


• Build Business Cases: You'll construct compelling financial cases for new business opportunities, including new attractions, hotel developments, cruise programs, entertainment offerings, food and beverage concepts, and special events.


• Tell the Story Behind the Numbers: You'll translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives that engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, helping them understand the "why" behind the numbers.


• Drive Process Improvement: You'll continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in statistical, financial, or strategic analysis, preferably within the entertainment, hospitality, or consumer products industries.


• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. Experience with complex data sets, including the ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of information.


• Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex analysis into clear, understandable, and actionable insights. You should have a natural talent for "data storytelling" that engages and influences your audience.


• Attention to Detail: Strong commitment to accuracy and precision, with the ability to think strategically while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.


• Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should enjoy diving deep into challenges and finding innovative solutions.


• Team Player: Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with colleagues across departments and levels of the organization.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field.

• Advanced Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VBA programming, SQL queries, or equivalent database manipulation experience.


• Data Visualization: Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to create compelling dashboards and reports.


• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with theme park, hospitality, entertainment, or consumer products operations and business models.


• Leadership Mindset: A management-oriented personality with a desire to mentor team members and drive collective success.

• Advanced Education: Master's degree in a quantitative field, MBA, or CPA certification is a plus.
