Responsibilities: Design, perform, and analyze complex molecular biology experiments using techniques such as PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, cloning, and gene editing (CRISPR). Develop and optimize new molecular assays and protocols. Maintain meticulous experimental records and contribute to the preparation of scientific publications and patent applications. Interpret experimental data, troubleshoot unexpected results, and propose next steps. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams of scientists and researchers in a virtual environment. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in molecular biology and relevant scientific literature. Present research findings clearly and concisely during virtual team meetings. Contribute to the development of strategic research plans. Qualifications: PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in molecular biology. Proven track record of successfully designing and executing complex experiments. Expertise in a broad range of molecular biology techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific concepts. Experience with data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R) is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team. A proactive and self-driven approach to research.
