Responsibilities:

tManage all aspects of sow farm operations, including breeding, farrowing, and animal welfare

tSupervise and train farm staff, ensuring proper care and handling of animals

tDevelop and implement farm protocols and standard operating procedures

tMonitor animal health and well-being, implementing appropriate interventions as needed

tOversee facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe and clean working environment

tMaintain accurate farm records, including production data and inventory management

tCollaborate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and other industry professionals to optimize farm performance

tStay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing new technologies and techniques as appropriate

Qualifications:

tBachelor's degree in Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field

tAt least 5 years of experience in managing sow farms
