As a Specialist in Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service, you'll be at the forefront of customer interactions, representing arenaflex with professionalism, empathy, and expertise. What You'll Do

As a Government and Corporate Affairs Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell air travel while delivering exceptional service to our valued customers. Your daily tasks will include:


  • Travel Booking and Sales: Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex, helping customers find the perfect flights for their needs. You'll assist with trip planning, route optimization, and finding the best fares available.
  • Itinerary Preparation and Fare Calculation: Prepare detailed travel itineraries, compute fares accurately, and ensure all pricing is correct. You'll become an expert in understanding the complexities of air travel pricing and routing.
  • Ticket Issuance and Refunds: Issue tickets professionally and process refunds according to arenaflex policies and industry regulations. You'll ensure all transactions are accurate and comply with financial procedures.
  • Customer Inquiry Resolution: Answer inquiries regarding general travel information, including routes, schedules, amenities, and policies. You'll resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner, ensuring both the customer's needs are met and arenaflex maintains its commitment to service excellence.
  • Passenger Complaint Management: Communicate with customers over the phone when researching passenger complaints. You'll listen attentively, gather all necessary information, and work toward solutions that leave customers feeling valued and respected.
  • Flight Disruption Communication: Advise customers of cancelled or delayed flights with empathy and clarity. You'll provide alternative options, rebooking assistance, and regular updates to minimize inconvenience.
  • Policy and Procedure Communication: Communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that would affect the customer. You'll ensure passengers are well-informed about changes to regulations, arenaflex policies, or travel requirements.
  • Government and Corporate Liaison: Work closely with government affairs professionals to ensure compliance with regulations and represent arenaflex in corporate client interactions. You'll serve as a bridge between our organization and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and resolutions. You'll contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and insights from customer interactions.

All You'll Need for Success

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Prior Job Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience and training will also be considered.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel, hospitality, or aviation industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with composure and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new software applications quickly.

Preferred Qualifications - Education and Prior Job Experience


  • Previous experience in the airline or travel industry is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Native SABRE or other airline reservation systems.
  • Background in government affairs, corporate communications, or public relations.
  • Knowledge of international travel regulations and customs procedures.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and call center operations.
