Position Overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic organization as Manager, Financial Systems. This is a key leadership role serving as a business lead for the modernization and implementation of SAP's S/4HANA. As part of our Financial Systems team, you will collaborate with the best minds in the industry to build and implement cutting-edge financial technology solutions that power our global enterprise.

What You Will Do

As a Manager, Financial Systems at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our financial technology landscape. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the successful adoption of S/4HANA and modernized financial reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead S/4HANA Implementation: Work closely and collaboratively with the arenaflex Finance organization, Enterprise Technology teams, and key stakeholders to facilitate the successful execution of S/4HANA, our new integration software, and modernized financial reporting solutions.

Strategy Development: Collaborate to develop and implement strategies to address financial reporting needs, gather data, analyze recommendations, and define agreed-upon financial functional requirements, end-user system strategies, and business process flows.

Functional-Technical Bridge: Interface the functional processes and needs to the greater organizational goals, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.

Solution Development: Utilize your functional expertise and deep knowledge of SAP to develop solutions for complex system issues, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop testing strategies, coordinate, and participate in finance-related testing efforts for system implementations, enhancements, and modifications to ensure system reliability and accuracy.

Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with partners, management, and informed authorities across all levels of the organization, presenting complex technical information in accessible terms.

Training and Enablement: Support the S/4 Project Transformation Steering Committee in developing targeted training programs and materials to prepare the Finance community for using SAP's S/4HANA and other related applications effectively.

Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement in all financial systems and processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.

Analysis and Problem-Solving: Exercise strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail while investigating complex information and system solutions, assessing risks, and developing strategies to support accurate financial reporting and strong controls.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership capabilities. We are looking for professionals who thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and are passionate about financial systems excellence.

Essential Experience and Knowledge:

5+ years of experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of integrated financial processes and system architecture.

Extensive SAP expertise with deep knowledge of SAP accounting solutions and 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience in a complex, large-scale organization.

Proven track record demonstrating your achievements and skills related to your role on enterprise-wide financial system programs, including successful project delivery and stakeholder management.

Complex Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex issues; not afraid to wrestle with the unknown and be creative in developing innovative solutions.

Analytical Excellence: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to use data-driven insights to inform decisions and recommendations.

Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate risks to financial processes, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial operations.

Collaborative Leadership: You deliver excellence and take pride in working collaboratively with strong cross-functional teams.

Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Results-Oriented: Ability to deliver results and thrive in a high-speed, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

Education Requirements:

Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

Preferred: Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (e.g., MAC, MBA, MIS).

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, particularly in a migration from legacy SAP systems.

Strong understanding of financial processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and financial closing operations.

Experience with integration of SAP with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.

Knowledge of financial reporting tools and analytics platforms.

Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

Understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance requirements.

Work Location and Schedule

This position may be located in Orlando, FL, or Glendale, CA. The selected candidate will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week to facilitate collaboration and team engagement. At arenaflex, we are committed to attracting and retaining the best talent. The base salary actually offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the applicant's geographic region, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
