- Job Description:
- Simultaneous and/or Consecutive Interpretation for virtual or in-person meetings, conferences, and events.
- Written Translation, Editing, and Transcription of documents, reports, surveys, presentations, etc.
- Localization and Cultural Adaptation of materials as needed.
- Language Consulting , including support for building multilingual resources.
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in professional translation and/or interpretation services, managing complex, large-scale, or multi-language projects.
- Native or near-native fluency in target language(s) and strong command of English.
- Familiarity with terminology relevant to our field of work (e.g., social justice, grantmaking, feminist philanthropy) from a global lens.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
- Familiarity with technology and collaborative communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Outlook, Word).
- (For interpreters ) , proven expertise with facilitating live interpretation via Zoom using the simultaneous interpretation function.
- Ability to effectively manage invoices, including tracking payment requests and submissions in accordance with agreed upon timelines and billing procedures.
