Travel & Entertainment Expense Operations Analyst - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Travel & Entertainment Expense Operations Analyst for a Remote position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity.

The candidate will join a dynamic Finance team, responsible for the full-cycle Travel & Entertainment (T&E) process. This role involves auditing expense reports for policy adherence, maintaining corporate credit cards, and providing excellent customer service to employees regarding expense-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be able to handle a heavy workflow with a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities:
• Audit employee expense reports online for accuracy and compliance with the T&E policy
• Manage corporate credit card accounts
• Investigate and resolve T&E related issues or queries in a prompt and professional manner
• Mine and analyze data to develop management reports
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and other parties
• Execute established ad hoc processes with attention to detail
• Analyze procedures and recommend improvements to create greater efficiency and productivity
• Demonstrate active engagement in meetings with thoughtful questions and raising critical issues for discussion

Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance discipline
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite
• Diligence and strong analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact well with diverse levels of employees and provide superior customer service
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing organization
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Desired skills:
• Experience with Workday finance modules
• 2-3 years of experience in Expense Management, Finance, Collections, or Operations

Pay range: $10.63 - $20.63 per hour
