Utilities Right of Way Agent - Chillicothe, OH

The Utilities Right of Way Agent will acquire Right-of-Way rights for electrical transmission and distribution projects, support project teams, and communicate with property owners regarding acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Acquire Right-of-Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission and distribution line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
• Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members
• Prepare real estate documents
• Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
• Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
• Perform general administrative tasks

Skills

• Minimum of one (1) year of Right of Way Acquisition experience
• Active Ohio Notary OR the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
• Valid Driver's License
