I’m looking for a talented and experienced video editor to create a YouTube video that is engaging, cinematic, and optimized for maximum viewer retention and click-through rate. This project is for my channel TorqueCity, which focuses on automotive history, investigative stories, and corporate ethics.

Project Details:

• Video Length: ~10–12 minutes

• Style: Documentary-style narration with cinematic pacing, micro-shocks, suspenseful reveals, and emotional beats. Think high-retention, faceless YouTube channels (e.g., ColdFusion, RealLifeLore, Company Man).

• Visuals: Mix of:

• Stock footage (cars, factories, crash scenes, archive footage)

• Historical photos/documents

• Motion graphics for numbers, micro-shocks, and charts

• Smooth transitions, text overlays, and callouts to emphasize key points

• Narration: Voiceover will be provided (or can assist in timing with placeholder audio)

• Editing Goals:

• Keep viewers engaged with pacing, dramatic pauses, and suspenseful reveals

• Highlight emotional impact moments (e.g., crash sequences, cost-benefit numbers)

• Use on-screen text to emphasize shocking facts and statistics

• Add sound design and subtle music to increase tension and emotional engagement

Thumbnail Requirements:

• Eye-catching, clickable, and optimized for YouTube CTR

• Incorporate visual storytelling (hint at story conflict, danger, or shocking facts)

What I’m Looking For:
