About the Role

The Platform Services & Operations group in Core OS at arenaflex is seeking a talented Workflow Systems Analyst to design and develop critical workflow tooling at scale. This is a unique opportunity to be at the intersection of data analytics, process improvement, and software engineering excellence.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling teams to produce high-quality software through world-class engineering experiences, efficient workflows, data-driven insights, and a culture of continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be delivering valuable data and insights while engaging with partners across the organization to provide training and support for workflow initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Workflow Systems Analyst at arenaflex, you will take ownership of critical analytical initiatives and drive meaningful change across the organization. Here's what you can expect:

Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards that visualize key metrics and progress toward organizational goals. You'll transform complex data into intuitive visual representations that drive informed decision-making.

Data Analysis & Insights: Serve as the insight and visualization expert for our mature team of Data Scientists and Engineers. Identify patterns and trends in large datasets, translating findings into actionable recommendations for all levels of leadership.

Iterative Dashboard Design: Lead iterative dashboard design processes by presenting prototypes to teams, gathering feedback, and continuously improving end products to meet evolving business needs.

Workflow Characterization: Characterize the current state of complex workflow systems by profiling intricate processes, documenting them thoroughly, and identifying target areas for improvement.

Change Leadership: Act as a Change Agent by working directly with partners to drive action. Translate insights into tangible wins by developing key metrics, recommending policy changes, and delivering action plans to stakeholders at all levels.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Engage with partners across the entire organization to provide education and support in support of workflow initiatives. Foster collaborative relationships that drive continuous improvement.

Research to Action: Convert research into actionable insights by developing key metrics, advocating for policy changes, and delivering comprehensive action plans to leadership teams.

Essential Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring a combination of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and collaborative spirit. To thrive in this role at arenaflex, you'll need:

Professional Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or in a similar analytical role.

Analytics Expertise: Solid working knowledge of analytics methodologies including data visualization, statistical analysis, and understanding of the Analytics Maturity Curve (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, and Prescriptive analytics).

Insight Translation: Demonstrated ability to turn research into insight—developing key metrics, recommending policy changes, and delivering action plans to all levels of leadership.

Advanced Tableau Skills: Proven experience as an advanced Tableau developer with the ability to create complex, interactive dashboards from scratch.

SQL Proficiency: Capable SQL user with experience in aggregation, nested queries, and data inspection/validation. You should be comfortable working with large datasets and complex queries.

Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Software Development Analytics: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DORA metrics, and LEAN software delivery methodologies.

Software Development Experience: Understanding of build pipelines, merging processes, testing systems and methodologies, and code delivery workflows.

Product Ownership: Experience taking full accountability for key project outcomes—driving efforts and generating concrete results through analytics.

Project Management: Ability to plan and drive efforts across partner teams toward unified goals, demonstrating strong organizational and coordination skills.
