LKQ Corporation is seeking motivated individuals to join their Customer Service team at Elitek Vehicle Services. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer experiences through effective communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with new & existing customers through a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Daily duties include heavy phone activity and computer use
- Field staff requests/inquiries regarding general issues
- Receive incoming calls and create work orders
- Manage timely responses to customers' calls and inquiries
- Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate service calls with customers and technicians
- Maintain an extremely well-organized calendar
- Other duties and additional responsibilities as directed, depending upon interest and capacity
Skills
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc
- Basic messages communicated orally
- May write brief messages and keep simple records
- May explain and offer guidance on routine procedures
- Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures
- Decisions generally affect own job or assigned functional area
- Results are defined and existing practices are used as guidelines for how to complete work activities
- Works closely with supervisor/manager who provides broad guidance and overall direction
- Prioritize assigned and routine tasks
- Handle appropriately
- Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Associate's Degree
- Sales or customer service experience, especially in a call center environment
- Bi-Lingual, English & Spanish or English & French
