Role Overview
We are searching for experienced Information Science experts to drive our logical transformation in the Talent Acquisition space. As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to work on a ground-up remake of our analytical capabilities, from data entry and pipeline management to complex business transformations and end-user reporting.
In this role, you will imagine and expand solutions for candidates, trial and test novel ideas, evangelize victories, and drive consistency across our talent acquisition processes. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist specializing in Talent Acquisition Analytics at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with HR specialists, software engineers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide analytical support that drives strategic decision-making.
- Data Analysis and Modeling: Leverage code to investigate complex datasets and design, develop, and evaluate data transformations that solve specific business problems in the talent acquisition domain.
- Pipeline Development: Build flexible, efficient, and automated data pipelines to facilitate client-facing reporting and ensure data integrity throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Process Automation: Automate Talent Acquisition processes to streamline business operations, reduce manual effort, and improve overall efficiency across the hiring workflow.
- Strategic Communication: Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients and leadership to share insights and recommendations that inform talent strategy and workforce planning initiatives.
- Data Governance: Ensure proper documentation and archival of business data pipelines while maintaining compliance with data security and privacy standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Constantly monitor and identify ways to enhance the data stream process, staying current with the latest trends in data warehousing and analytics technologies.
- Multi-Project Management: Organize and execute multiple related projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality deliverables.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this Data Scientist position at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.
- Programming Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with data querying languages (such as SQL), scripting languages (such as Python), or statistical/numerical programming (such as R, SAS, Matlab, or similar tools).
- Machine Learning Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, including understanding of data analysis tools, techniques, and parameters that influence model performance.
- Applied Experience: Proven experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to source data, clean and refine datasets, analyze patterns, and develop predictive models.
