Position Overview
Are you ready to take your event management career to the next level? We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Event Management Specialist who can lead the development and delivery of exceptional events – from in-person experiences to virtual activations and everything in between. This role is perfect for someone who loves to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and isn't afraid to challenge conventions to deliver something truly special.
As part of our team, you'll be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing events that showcase arenaflex content to both external audiences and internal stakeholders. You'll work across a variety of event types, including product launches, premiere screenings, press events, employee activations, and hybrid experiences that bring our brand to life in innovative ways.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Conceptualization & Development: Lead the creative ideation process, developing compelling event concepts and proposals that align with arenaflex's brand identity and marketing objectives. Transform imaginative ideas into detailed, executable event plans that deliver maximum impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with key stakeholders across various disciplines, including marketing teams, content creators, PR professionals, creative agencies, and regional partners. Build strong relationships to ensure event objectives are clearly understood and successfully achieved.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Serve as the creative strategist and problem-solver for all event-related initiatives. Develop comprehensive event strategies that consider audience engagement, brand alignment, budget optimization, and measurable outcomes.
- Agile Leadership: Demonstrate the ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude and sense of humor. Proactively gather feedback and perspectives from cross-functional partners, including title teams, market marketing specialists, creative studios, and publishing teams.
- Event Campaign Management: Design and deliver innovative, high-quality experiences that are consumer-driven and unique to arenaflex. Coordinate all aspects of event campaign strategies from initial concept through post-event analysis.
- Hybrid & Virtual Events: Adapt seamlessly to in-person, virtual, or hybrid event formats. Stay current with the latest tools, platforms, and technologies needed to bring our vision to life across all event types.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Oversee external vendors and agency partners, ensuring quality standards are met, timelines are followed, and budgets are managed effectively.
- Resource Acquisition: Provide strategic direction for obtaining venues, vendors, entertainment, and other event-related requirements. Negotiate contracts and build partnerships that benefit arenaflex's event initiatives.
- Project & Budget Management: Demonstrate strong project management, budgeting, and time management skills while working within tight deadlines. Monitor expenditures and ensure events deliver value for arenaflex's investment.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of events experience, preferably within the media, entertainment, or streaming industry. This should include significant experience managing, executing, planning, and staffing events at a company, studio, agency, or brand. Experience with film or television award campaigns is a significant plus.
- Self-Motivation: Must be a self-starter who can work independently and under pressure while consistently exercising good judgment, even when faced with ambiguity or rapidly changing circumstances.
- Creative Thinking: Strong creative strategic thinking combined with innovative problem-solving abilities. You should be able to approach challenges from unique angles and develop solutions that stand out.
- Adaptability: Ability to pivot quickly and maintain a positive outlook and sense of humor, especially in fast-paced or challenging situations.
- Communication Skills: Articulate communicator who can clearly convey ideas, requirements, and expectations to deliver successful campaigns. Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Integrity & Courage: Be honest and straightforward, unafraid to challenge assumptions, ask questions, or point out obstacles. A willingness to speak up and drive positive change is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Agile with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of events meet the highest quality standards.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to prioritize multiple tasks and see projects through to completion.
- Regional Experience: Experience working in the Asia-Pacific region is highly desirable, with particular emphasis on the Indian market.
