Position Overview
As a Pharmacist at arenaflex, you will serve as a trusted healthcare advisor to our patients, providing expert guidance on medication therapy, disease management, and preventive health services. Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience and Customer Service
- Greet and engage patients warmly, offering assistance with products and services to create a welcoming environment
- Resolve patient concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive and satisfying experience every time

- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients, explaining usage instructions, side effects, drug interactions, and contraindications

- Refer patients to appropriate clinical providers when necessary to ensure proper medication use and comprehensive care
- Perform pharmacist duties including medication compounding, drug therapy reviews, prescription verification, and medication therapy management
- Accurately interpret and dispense prescribed medications in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Ensure the pharmacy operates in full accordance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
- Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy technology systems including workflow management, prescription processing, billing, and inventory control
- Process insurance claims accurately, resolve patient issues, and prevent payment rejections through thorough verification
- Follow up with insurance companies and healthcare providers to clarify prescription details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure optimal patient care
- Conduct clinical and health services including vaccinations, diagnostic testing, disease state management, and other healthcare offerings
- Support pharmacy management in analyzing performance metrics, financial data, and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the local medical community including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
- Participate in community outreach activities to promote pharmacy services and improve population health
- Collaborate with centralized support teams for patient enrollment, exception resolution, and issue escalation

- Assist Pharmacy Manager with staff hiring, training, and onboarding processes

Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited educational institution
