About the FP&A Functions Center of Excellence

The FP&A Functions Center represents a newly established global Finance Center of Excellence at arenaflex, designed to elevate financial stewardship across the organization. This team serves as the backbone for all G&A objectives, ensuring fiscal responsibility while enabling strategic growth initiatives. As a Business Analysis Manager within this prestigious function, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming how arenaflex manages its financial resources and operational efficiency.

What You'll Do as Business Analysis Manager

As a key leader within the FP&A Functions Center, you will serve as both a data expert and process owner, responsible for driving excellence in financial analysis and spend management. Your contributions will directly impact arenaflex's ability to make informed, strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Aligned Workstreams: Support prominent workstreams directly aligned to executive needs, ensuring that financial insights and recommendations are timely, accurate, and actionable for senior leadership.
  • Process Transformation Leadership: Lead process improvement initiatives for the newly established spend approval committee, designing efficient workflows that balance fiscal responsibility with operational agility.
  • Financial Review & Presentation: Arrange, review, and present spend requests to a distinguished panel composed of Finance leaders, effectively communicating the strategic rationale behind each financial commitment.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare comprehensive leadership reporting to explain spending requests and decisions, translating complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives that drive informed decision-making.
  • Data Systems Mastery: Explore internal data systems to become confident in the mastery of spend baselines, leveraging advanced analytics to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Efficiency Validation: Lead rigorous reviews to validate efficiency recommendations across projects, ensuring that financial improvements deliver measurable value to the organization.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with business strategies, fostering a culture of financial acumen throughout the organization.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets, monitoring expenditures and providing variance analysis to relevant stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

  • Financial Analysis Expertise: Moderate experience (4+ years) in financial analysis, financial modeling, budgeting, and business planning, with a track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business results.
  • Process Improvement Leadership: At least 3 years of experience in process improvement management, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and optimize financial workflows.
  • Industry Experience: Substantial experience (4+ years) in retail or technology industries, with a deep understanding of industry-specific financial dynamics and operational complexities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven experience (4+ years) contributing to and driving cross-functional teams, working effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and departments.
  • Decision Support: Demonstrated ability (4+ years) to develop and present recommendations to decision-makers, influencing strategic outcomes through data-driven insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in global finance organizations with distributed teams
  • Advanced proficiency in financial planning systems and business intelligence tools
  • Strong background in cost management and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Experience with Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies
  • Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CPM
