The Visiting MTAC Enrollment Coordinator directs the completion of the certification and annual recertification reviews for mental health providers seeking to qualify as Medicaid enrolled Behavioral Health Clinics (BHCs) and works with statewide Medicaid enrollment Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs) to annually assessing their qualifications to provide Subspecialty mental health services. Utilizing knowledge and experience in Medicaid behavioral health practice and policy, the Visiting MTAC Enrollment Coordinator works to ensure behavioral health service providers, their staff and programs meet specific state requirements, and agencies are qualified to serve the public. The Visiting MTAC Enrollment Coordinator coordinates certifications with the support of the MTAC Enrollment Support Specialists and collaborates with the Office of Medicaid Innovation and the Assistant Director of Training Development and Operations to build systems that will support the on-going development of a robust compliance program.

Illinois residency and statewide travel are required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Master's degree in social work or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience.

Preferred:

  • Five years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience. 3 years or more working in a community mental health setting.
  • Illinois clinical licensure. LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Comprehensive understanding of Illinois Medicaid delivery system and HFS managed care organizations.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work semi-independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and proven excellence in oral and written communications are critical. Understanding of Medicaid Rehab Options (MRO) behavioral health services and experience translating policy into practice.


APPOINTMENT INFORMATION
This is a Full Time academic professional position. The expected start date is 4/17/2026. Sponsorship for Work Authorization is not available for this position.

The budgeted salary range for the position is $70,000.00 - 85,000.00. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
