What You'll Do as an Arenaflex Cloud Customer Engineer
As an Arenaflex Cloud Customer Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our customer experience efforts, serving as the technical face of arenaflex to customers worldwide. This role combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills to deliver outstanding support experiences.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Support: Support Arenaflex Cloud customers across various modalities, including phone, email, chat, and web-based ticket systems. You'll serve as part of a global support delivery team, ensuring consistent, high-quality assistance regardless of time zone or location.
- Technical Depth and Problem Resolution: Go technically deep across Arenaflex Cloud services (at least level 200-300 technical proficiency) while actively seeking solutions to complex customer needs. Analyze issues thoroughly and develop creative workarounds when standard solutions don't apply.
- Voice of the Customer: Serve as the authoritative voice of the customer within arenaflex. Identify recurring issues, emerging patterns, and feature requests that can drive product improvements and supportability enhancements across the platform.
- Process Optimization: Transform Arenaflex Cloud customers into Arenaflex Cloud fans by continuously improving support efficiency. Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, tools, and workflows that enhance both customer satisfaction and team productivity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and maintain close working relationships with teams related to assigned service areas. Leverage these relationships during escalations and collaborate effectively to drive product improvements based on customer feedback.
- Documentation Excellence: Create and update Arenaflex Cloud product documentation that helps customers successfully deploy solutions on the platform. Your contributions will empower countless developers and IT professionals to achieve more.
- Engineering Partnership: Work closely with feature engineering teams to report bugs, expedite bug fixes, and bubble up feature requests. Ensure that customer voices directly influence the product roadmap.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of software industry experience related to technology
- OR equivalent experience demonstrating relevant technical proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated passion for customer success and satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in software industry experience related to technology
- OR equivalent experience demonstrating equivalent technical expertise
- 1+ years of customer facing experience in a technical support or similar role
- Proficiency in one or more automation languages (PowerShell, Python, C#, or OpenSource technologies)
- Certification in Arenaflex Cloud and/or competing Cloud Technologies
Technical Expertise
You should have a solid understanding of cloud computing technologies across Windows and/or Linux platforms, with demonstrated hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
- Arenaflex Cloud Core Platform: Compute, Storage, and Networking services
- Web Applications: IIS, Arenaflex Cloud Web Apps, PHP, Apache, Tomcat, WordPress, or similar technologies
- Identity and Authentication: Single Sign-On (SSO), Federation, Active Directory, or Arenaflex Active Directory

Compensation and Benefits

- Base Salary: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $81,900 - $160,200 per year. For roles in specific high-cost areas, the base pay range may be adjusted accordingly.
