Position Overview

The Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services will play a pivotal role in directing the execution of healthcare management services for assigned functional areas. Key Responsibilities

As an integral part of the arenaflex clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for:


  • Clinical Excellence: Implement clinical policies and procedures in strict accordance with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA, URAC, state and federal regulations as applicable. Your expertise will ensure that our programs maintain the highest quality benchmarks.

  • Team Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and coach to your team regarding practice standards, quality interventions, issue resolution, and critical thinking. You will foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

  • Best Practice Implementation: Ensure the execution and monitoring of best practice approaches and innovations to better address member needs across the continuum of care. Your insights will help shape the future of our service delivery.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a contact with other key business areas, building relationships that enhance our integrated care model and drive organizational success.

  • Training & Development: May develop/aid in the development and review of new training content, collaborate with intra-departmental instructional programs, and contribute to building a high-performing team.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Evaluate and interpret data, identify areas for improvement, and focus on interventions to enhance clinical outcomes. Your analytical skills will directly impact the quality of care we provide.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:


  • A minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating your depth of clinical knowledge and patient care expertise.

  • An active, unrestricted RN (Registered Nurse) or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure in your state of residence. This is non-negotiable as it forms the foundation of your ability to provide clinical oversight and guidance.

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, providing you with the educational foundation to understand complex healthcare systems and leadership principles.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will help you stand out:


  • Managed care experience, particularly with Medicare programs, giving you insight into the unique needs of diverse patient populations.
