About the Role
As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will serve as the first point of contact for Home Health Aide candidates seeking employment opportunities with our agency. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough phone screenings, assess qualifications, and match talented HHAs with the staffing needs of our New Jersey locations. This role requires exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume calls while maintaining our commitment to excellence.
You'll be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are alike. One moment, you might be conducting initial screening interviews with prospective HHAs; the next, you could be collaborating with our hiring managers to identify the best candidates for open positions. Key Responsibilities
- Phone Screening & Candidate Assessment: Conduct comprehensive phone interviews with Home Health Aide applicants to verify their qualifications, experience, and suitability for placement. Evaluate candidates based on established criteria and provide accurate documentation of your findings.
- Inbound & Outbound Call Management: Handle high volumes of inbound calls from prospective HHAs while also making outbound calls to follow up on applications, address inquiries, and maintain engagement with our candidate pipeline.
- Policy & Procedure Education: Provide clear, accurate information to candidates regarding our services, hiring policies, onboarding requirements, and workplace expectations. Ensure all communications reflect our commitment to professionalism and transparency.
- Data Entry & Record Management: Maintain precise records of candidate information, screening results, and hiring pipeline status in our applicant tracking system. Perform regular data entry tasks to ensure database accuracy and integrity.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our staffing coordinators, hiring managers, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of the hiring process. Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Issue Resolution: Address candidate concerns, questions, and complaints with empathy and efficiency. Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset.
- Performance Optimization: Meet or exceed departmental goals related to call volume, screening accuracy, candidate satisfaction, and time-to-hire metrics.
Essential Qualifications
- Bilingual Fluency: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to switch seamlessly between languages during professional conversations. Written communication skills in both languages are also required.
- Customer Service Experience: Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service in a professional setting. Strong track record of handling customer inquiries with patience, empathy, and effectiveness.
- High Volume Call Experience: Comfortable managing high volumes of phone calls daily while maintaining quality and professionalism. Previous experience in call centers, telehealth, or similar fast-paced environments is highly valued.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning new software systems. Experience with applicant tracking systems or CRM platforms is a plus.
- New Jersey Residency: Must reside in the state of New Jersey to be considered for this position.
- Availability: Must be available to work standard daytime hours (Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts) and be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours per week).
