Role: Consulting Manager – Financial Close (Trintech)
Location: Fully Remote; Travel is not required, but there could be opportunities for limited travel in the future
Job Type: Contractor (6+ Months) with potential for hire
About the Role:
Rust Belt Resources has partnered with a growing boutique consultancy in order to add a key person to help support the continued expansion and quality delivery of their client services. This person should possess a strong project management background with deep understanding of financial processes, software implementation, and consulting best practices in client-facing work.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementations of Trintech financial software for clients, ensuring successful adoption and optimal utilization.
- Analyze current financial close processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and risk reduction.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including finance teams, IT, and executives, to tailor solutions that align with business needs.
- Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
- Provide subject matter expertise in financial close, reconciliation, and compliance processes.
- Conduct training sessions and change management initiatives to drive user adoption.
- Stay up-to-date with Trintech product updates and industry best practices to enhance client solutions.
- Support business development by identifying new opportunities, developing proposals, and contributing to sales efforts.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting with exposure to financial process optimization and software implementation.
- Knowledge of Trintech solutions (Cadency, Adra, etc.) and financial close processes are preferred
- Transferable experience from similar software is welcome (BlackLine, Oracle Fusion, Sage, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve implementation challenges, with the ability to assess complex requirements and design customized solutions
- Strong technical acumen, proficiency in various software and tools and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Experience in conducting training sessions or workshops, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a client-facing role, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in implementation consulting or a related role.
- Certification in project management or relevant industry certifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting industry-specific software or technologies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
