About the Role
We're currently seeking friendly, attentive, and dedicated independent contractors to join our network and support customers of our Driver Assistance Program. This program delivers critical safety services including Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Hands-free Destination Assist, Stolen Vehicle Locator, and more. You'll be the voice that customers turn to—in both routine moments and urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency—handling everything from routine navigation assistance to urgent emergency calls
- Evaluate caller situations carefully and provide appropriate solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs and circumstances
- Navigate complex systems while maintaining focus on the customer, effectively multi-tasking to locate information without losing engagement
- Demonstrate crisis response capabilities by reacting decisively and calmly in emergency situations, following established protocols while exercising good judgment
- De-escalate emotional or difficult calls using active listening, reassurance, and communication techniques to bring callers to a calm resolution
- Document call details accurately and ensure all interactions are properly logged for quality assurance and follow-up purposes
- Maintain product knowledge across all Driver Assistance Program services to provide accurate information and recommendations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with program updates, new features, and best practices

- Previous experience in customer service, call center, or emergency response roles
- Familiarity with driver assistance programs, navigation systems, or automotive technology

Technical Requirements

- Internet: Broadband connection with minimum 10 MBPS download speed; wired (Ethernet) connection required during setup, training, and active work sessions
- Computer: Desktop or laptop running Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Security: Valid, current antivirus software installed and up to date
- Equipment: Wired USB headset with microphone (wireless or gaming headsets are not acceptable)

- Minimum guarantee: 45 minutes paid per available hour (ensuring steady earnings even during slower periods)
- Hourly equivalent: $12.60 - $16.80 per hour based on performance and call volume
- Bilingual premium: $0.31 per customer interaction minute for qualified bilingual contractors
- Bilingual guarantee: 48 minutes minimum per available hour
- Bilingual hourly equivalent: $14.88 - $18.60 per hour
