What You'll Be Doing: Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service & Inside Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and outstanding service delivery. Your days will be diverse, challenging, and rewarding. Here's what you can expect:
Team Support & Development
- Assist supervisors with training and onboarding new team members, sharing your expertise and helping them succeed in their roles
- Serve as a mentor and resource for junior staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented team environment
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving customer service processes and workflows
Order Management & Account Development
- Process order entries with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all customer requirements are clearly communicated and fulfilled
- Open new accounts by gathering necessary information, setting up profiles, and ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients
- Maintain and update customer records, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across all systems
- Develop strong relationships with existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in customer service operations
- Generate and analyze reports to identify trends, track performance metrics, and recommend improvements
- Utilize data insights to proactively address customer needs and improve service delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the overall customer experience
Field Sales Support
- Provide comprehensive support to our field sales representatives, serving as their trusted back-office partner
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure seamless handoffs and follow-up on leads and opportunities
- Prepare sales materials, quotes, and proposals as needed
- Communicate product information, pricing, and availability to support sales efforts
Client Relations & Issue Resolution
- Serve as the first point of contact for urgent or escalated issues raised by clients and sales teams
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints
- Employ strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
- Document and track escalated issues, following through to closure and implementing preventive measures
Special Projects & Additional Duties
- Assist supervisors with special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that support company-wide goals and objectives

What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you'll need to bring a solid foundation of experience and skills. Here's what we require:
- Experience: Two to four years of customer service or administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required – you'll be working with spreadsheets, data analysis, and reporting regularly
- System Knowledge: Experience with SAP is a plus, but not required – we'll train the right candidate
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in a Windows environment with strong skills in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and data entry
