About the Role
As a Pharmacy Benefits Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in our member services team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist members with their pharmacy benefit plans through inbound telephone calls. Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be responsible for:
- Responding to inbound customer calls regarding pharmacy benefit questions, prescription coverage inquiries, and medication pricing
- Providing comprehensive information about prescription insurance plans, including deductibles, copays, and coverage limitations
- Assisting members with mail order prescription services, including placing orders, tracking shipments, and troubleshooting delivery issues
- Educating customers on their healthcare options, helping them understand their benefits and choose the most cost-effective solutions
- Troubleshooting and resolving billing discrepancies, claims issues, and authorization requirements
- Documenting all interactions accurately in our customer relationship management system to ensure continuity of care
- Identifying opportunities to recommend additional services or programs that may benefit the member
- Maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and all governmental compliance requirements
- Participating in ongoing training to stay current with industry developments, policy changes, and system updates
- Meeting or exceeding performance metrics related to call quality, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates

Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of six (6) months of experience interacting with customers in a professional setting. This can include call center environments, retail positions, hospitality industry roles, or military service experience.
- Education: A verifiable High School diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- Technical Requirements: You must maintain your own reliable high-speed internet connection meeting our approved speed requirements. Additionally, you need a dedicated, secure workspace free from distractions to ensure productivity and privacy.
- Availability: The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed. Our site operates seven days a week, from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST for work-from-home employees.
- Compliance: Willingness to adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance regulations, as patient privacy and data security are paramount in this role.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- One (1) or more years of experience working in a call center environment or a healthcare-related field
- Six (6) months of previous work-from-home experience

Schedule and Compensation

Our site operates seven days a week to serve our members:
- Work-from-home employees: 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST
- Onsite call center employees: 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST
