About The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and collaborative Data Analyst to support our arenaflex+ Product, Marketing, and Content Curation teams, as well as our In-Home Publishing and Distribution groups. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the streaming industry, working with one of the most beloved entertainment brands in the world.

Reporting to the Senior Administrator, you will work closely with the arenaflex+ Product teams, analyzing and integrating data while providing support for both quantitative and qualitative research initiatives for key stakeholders. The primary areas of responsibility for this role center around arenaflex+ Product and Consumer Experience tracking programs, giving you direct insight into how our streaming service evolves to meet user needs.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-person collaboration from Monday through Thursday, with remote work available on Fridays. This arrangement provides the perfect balance between team collaboration and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions across our streaming business. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Research Support: Assist with a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research activities, including data collection and mapping, alongside extraction and analysis of data from multiple sources to build charts, tables, and report segments.
  • Data Integration: Join various datasets using SQL to support the day-to-day operations of the arenaflex+ client experience tracking project, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside different teams to conduct research across the organization, effectively communicating project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently prioritize, develop, and enhance our datasets.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the team and from various departments of the organization, as well as external vendors.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and design ongoing and ad-hoc reports involving quantitative and qualitative data for various groups within the product marketing, engagement, and product strategy of arenaflex+ and the arenaflex Streaming Package.
  • Project Management: Manage assigned projects, implement quality assurance processes, and report assignments and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines.
  • Strategic Support: Work with the Senior Administrator and team to ensure that every deliverable is strategically meaningful and drives strategic decision-making.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the team and analytics groups within Snowflake and Databricks environments to leverage cutting-edge data platforms.
  • Documentation: Maintain exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data elements and requirements, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Critical Data Requests: Respond to critical data requests from internal clients with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Presentation Support: Support the presentation of findings based on analysis conducted and contribute to related business discussions, helping translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay at the forefront of SVOD and In-Home industry trends amid a constantly evolving landscape, bringing fresh perspectives to our analytical approaches.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience OR Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Sciences, or a related field with 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to query and combine unique data sources from various platforms.
  • Data Integration: Ability to extract data and merge with different data sources to develop a rich, complete picture for the business.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong quantitative reasoning and analytical skills to interpret complex datasets.
  • Time Management: Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills, along with the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations that drive actionable insights.
  • Multitasking: Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would enhance your candidacy:


  • Proficiency in data processing tools such as SPSS, Q, or MarketSight.
  • Experience with survey tools including Interpret, Qualtrics, or SurveyMonkey.
  • Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms.
  • Programming knowledge in R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar languages for advanced statistical analysis.
  • Graduate degree in Market Research or Statistics for deeper analytical expertise.
  • Quantitative research background, either provider-side or client-side, in media or entertainment industries.
  • Experience analyzing survey data to extract meaningful insights that inform business strategy.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models and monetization strategies in streaming media.

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex is committed to providing competitive compensation that reflects your skills and experience. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $93,400 to $125,200 annually. The base salary actually offered will consider internal equity and may also vary depending on the applicant's geographic location, work-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units as part of the comprehensive compensation package. arenaflex offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent upon the level and position offered.
