Position Overview: Part-Time Data Entry Clerk
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and looking for a flexible part-time opportunity in the financial services sector? Arenaflex is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position that offers the convenience of working from home while contributing to critical financial documentation processes.
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in our syndicated loan operations. Your primary responsibility will be to review syndicated loan notices and perform manual data extraction and input with precision and accuracy. You will also be responsible for reviewing automated data extraction results, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining our high standards of quality control. Key Responsibilities
As an integral member of our data management team, you will be expected to:
- Review syndicated loan notices: Carefully examine loan documentation to manually extract critical data points required for our financial systems and databases.
- Perform data input: Accurately enter extracted data into our proprietary software systems, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every entry.
- Validate automated results: Review and verify the accuracy of automated data extraction outputs, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors.
- Ensure data quality: Maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness while processing financial information that is critical to our clients' operations.
- Meet deadlines: Work independently to complete tasks within established timeframes, particularly during peak periods when workload intensity increases.
- Communicate effectively: Collaborate with team members and supervisors through clear verbal and written communication, including email correspondence.
- Utilize multiple applications: Efficiently work with multiple web-based software programs simultaneously to retrieve and input data accurately.
- Apply logical reasoning: Identify and locate specific data points based on provided guidance, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities.
Work Schedule & Flexibility
This is a part-time, hourly position with core working hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. While core hours are established, flexibility may be required based on business needs. Shifts are scheduled in minimum increments of four hours, with an expectation of at least eight hours during peak days (typically occurring two to three times per month).
It is important to note that this is not a casual or随时-available position. We offer regular, consistent hours with the understanding that working days will vary based on business requirements. The expected commitment ranges from three to ten days per month, providing a predictable yet flexible schedule that can accommodate other commitments while offering stable employment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in data entry, financial services, or a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including advanced Excel skills for data management and analysis.
- Strong laptop functionality and comfort with technology; must have a reliable computer and high-speed internet connection.
- Experience with video conferencing software, particularly Microsoft Teams, as this will be our primary communication tool.
- Ability to efficiently utilize multiple web applications simultaneously (minimum of two applications at once).
- Demonstrated experience with online software programs designed for data entry and management.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen ability to identify errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to apply logical reasoning when locating specific data points.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective email correspondence and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still meeting team objectives and deadlines.
- Flexibility regarding work hours and days, with a willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
