Position Overview: Energy Services Data Entry Clerk

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Energy Services Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team. In this essential role, you will serve as the backbone of our Energy Services Programs, maintaining precise and up-to-date digital records that enable our team to deliver critical assistance to community members in need. Your accuracy and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to serve families who rely on energy assistance programs during challenging times.

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while remaining fully integrated with our team. Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be responsible for the following essential duties:


  • Database Management: Input and maintain updated client status records in the Statewide Client Service Center, ensuring the production pipeline accurately reflects current program activities and client progress.
  • Communication Monitoring: Monitor incoming emails and communications, promptly logging documents and correspondence in the Monday.com platform upon receipt to ensure seamless information flow across the organization.
  • System Compliance: Follow program guidelines rigorously for the use of all required database systems, including Monday.com, CMS, CSG eConservation, HEARTWAP, LIHEAP, In Demand, and any other platforms as needed to support program operations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital and paper participant files in strict accordance with program guidelines, ensuring full compliance with agency and funder requirements at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to support, enhance, and promote communication and consistency in the delivery of services, fostering a cohesive and efficient team environment.
  • Clerical Support: Assist with various clerical duties, including filing, mailings, phone coverage, and other administrative tasks as needed to support program operations.
  • Remote Work Availability: Maintain availability for remote work, including attending virtual meetings, responding to phone calls and emails promptly, and conducting regular duties as required to meet program objectives.
  • Professional Development: Attend all required staff meetings, supervision sessions, training programs, and contractual meetings to stay current with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Training Participation: Participate in mandatory agency training and engage in other relevant professional development activities to enhance your skills and contribute more effectively to our mission.
  • Confidentiality: Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the role, handling sensitive client information with the utmost care and professionalism.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following essential requirements:


  • Education: Associate degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in Human Services or a related field, demonstrating the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and families facing challenges, particularly those with low incomes.
  • Substitution Policy: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for experience, or additional directly related experience may be substituted for education, at the discretion of the hiring team.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred, enabling effective communication with the diverse populations we serve.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with database management systems, email platforms, and standard office software.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and community partners.
