In this role, you will be responsible for processing daily reconciliation activities, managing trade and transfer operations, and ensuring accuracy across multiple investment platforms. What You'll Do
As a Financial Operations & Investment Reconciliation Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our investment processing systems. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process exchange buy and sell transactions within customer accounts, ensuring all trades are executed correctly and in accordance with established procedures.
- Reconciliation Activities: Perform daily reconciliation of investment positions and transactions, identifying and addressing any discrepancies between our systems and external fund companies or transfer agents.
- Break Resolution: Recognize, investigate, and resolve breaks or discrepancies identified between arenaflex and fund companies, transfer agents, or other external partners.
- Corporate Actions Management: Handle corporate activity events including but not limited to mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, and other corporate reorganizations that affect client holdings.
- Transfer Processing: Manage and reconcile transfer activity, ensuring that client assets move smoothly between accounts and institutions while maintaining accuracy throughout the process.
- Returns Processing: Process and reconcile returns activity, maintaining precise records and identifying any issues that require attention.
- Research & Issue Resolution: Conduct research on complex or escalated issues, working to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- System Testing & Validation: Participate in testing and validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes, ensuring systems function properly before implementation.
- Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist with regulatory commitments and ensure all processing activities comply with relevant regulations, including requirements related to securities settlement and customer protection.
- Tax Code Analysis: Review and analyze appropriate tax codes and corrections of tax coding to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Client & Advisor Support: Respond to client and advisor inquiries regarding account transactions, exceptions, and eligibility requirements.
- Partner Communication: Collaborate with external partners including fund companies, transfer agents, and clearing organizations to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
