They are seeking an Entry-Level Surety Underwriter Trainee to join their Underwriting Training Program, where the candidate will learn to assess complex risks and negotiate coverage while developing their skills in underwriting.
Responsibilities
- Develop skills to assess complex risks for large and multinational organizations
- Learn how to negotiate coverage, evaluate exposures, and determine pricing and terms
Skills
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance or a business-related degree and on track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2026
- Strong analytical and intercommunication skills
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines
- Previous corporate finance or banking internship experience, underwriting experience is a plus!
- Aptitude for automation and process improvement
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office experience
