We're currently seeking a driven, customer-obsessed, and self-motivated professional to join our team as an Account Manager specializing in Third-Party (3P) Marketplace Development. Based in Honduras and working remotely, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our marketplace selection, attracting high-value sellers, and delivering exceptional shopping experiences to customers across the USA and beyond.
About the Role
As an Account Manager at arenaflex, you'll be chartered with acquiring, developing, and managing high-value relationships that drive new product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience for our customers. You'll be responsible for identifying product selection gaps, executing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, and attracting key marketplace players to join our platform. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding our product portfolio, enhancing customer choice, and strengthening our position as a leading e-commerce destination.

Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality, global developments/activities, and competitive landscape. Continuously monitor competitor efforts and identify emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Development: Identify, prospect, and acquire high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, virtual events, presentations, and proactive outreach. Build a robust pipeline of qualified merchants across various product categories.
- Merchant Enablement: Guide dealers and sellers through the onboarding process by sharing best practices of online selling, including data-driven insights that help them achieve high standards of delivery, customer experience, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence both internal and external stakeholders to identify and resolve vendor issues, ensuring smooth operations and mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Strategic Planning: Execute GTM strategies to attract key marketplace players, maximize product selection breadth, and grow our customer base across target markets.
- Performance Optimization: Drive revenue growth by helping sellers optimize their listings, pricing strategies, and marketing efforts to maximize visibility and sales performance.
Essential Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Candidates should possess 1 to 3 years of successful business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in the e-commerce, technology, retail, or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industries.
- Demonstrated success in exceeding income targets using consultative and solutions-focused sales approaches.
- Experience in launching nascent products/services into new markets is strongly preferred.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office programs for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities and market conditions.

- Strong business judgment with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
- Prior experience in marketplace platform sales or merchant acquisition.
- Familiarity with seller onboarding processes and e-commerce platform ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Latin American market dynamics and consumer behavior is advantageous.
