This is an opportunity to be the voice of data and help decision-makers become truly data-driven. You will translate vague business questions into concrete, answerable research questions, design studies to address those questions, and communicate your findings to non-technical audiences while being transparent about uncertainty and the assumptions underlying your analysis.

This position offers the unique opportunity to work with massive datasets and influence decisions that affect millions of users globally. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners including product managers, engineers, marketing teams, and senior executives to provide actionable insights that shape the future of our platform.

  • Peer Review and Collaboration: Serve as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams. Foster a culture of analytical excellence across the organization.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advances in the causal inference literature and data science community. Develop and implement new techniques and methodologies as appropriate to enhance our analytical capabilities.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and measure the impact of implemented solutions.

  • Methodology Development: Contribute to building out our analytical toolkit, including developing best practices for experimental design, causal inference, and statistical modeling.

  • Advanced experience with statistical data analysis including linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling techniques.

  • Published research or thought leadership in fields related to causal inference, econometrics, or applied statistics.

  • Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks and cloud computing platforms.

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of technical excellence and business acumen:
