We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge through training and professional development programs.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • **Customer Experience**
  • + Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.+ Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.+ Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • **Operations**
  • + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.+ Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items.+ Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested.+ Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.+ Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records.+ Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader.+ Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.+ Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • **Visual Merchandising**
  • + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.+ Complete resets and revisions as directed.
  • **Photo Services**
  • + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.+ Suggestively sell promotional photo products.
  • **Web Pick-up and Maintenance**
  • + Monitor orders in Picture Care Plus and fill orders (pick items).+ Deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.+ Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance.
  • **Training & Personal Development**
  • + Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.
  • *Essential Qualifications**
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
