- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness of the area, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
- Handling customer and associate concerns and providing guidance as required.
- Monitoring all Front End associates to ensure proper coverage, coordinating breaks, and providing assistance to outlying registers.
- Providing training to associates on systems and arenaflex procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, company programs and initiatives, discounts, EAS system, and safety protocols.
- Overseeing purchase, return, and exchange transactions and assisting with the correction of errors where required, providing approvals, and verifying processes to meet arenaflex guidelines.
- Ensuring all EAS systems are functioning to standard, including cashiers deactivating, greeters handling issues appropriately, and completing "Failure to Deactivate" Logs.
- Preparing registers for opening and closing daily and supporting cashiers by providing change as needed, while maintaining front-end cash levels and supporting process by completing audits on register accuracy.
- Overseeing and promoting all arenaflex sponsor programs and initiatives, including credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity initiatives, and discount programs.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Age: 16 or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or retail management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
