  • *Key Responsibilities**

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional client service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and patient records, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with our veterinary team
  • Processing payments, handling client correspondence, and preparing health certificates, immunization certificates, and other essential documents
  • Partnering with our veterinary team to meet and exceed client expectations, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for all
  • Admitting patients, handling medical records entries, and updating client and patient information in our practice computer software
  • Preparing and sending client correspondence, including procedure reminders, thank you cards, welcome cards, sympathy arrangements, and A/R statements
  • Receiving and relaying telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly, answering telephones and handling calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner
  • Other duties as assigned, including participating in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • *Work Environment**

This role operates in a professional office environment, with exposure to hazards associated with pets, including allergies, contagious diseases, noises, odors, bites, scratches, and animal waste. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service and support.

  • *Physical Demands**

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly talking or hearing
  • Frequently sitting, standing, walking, using hands, and reaching with hands and arms
  • Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds up or down one flight of stairs
  • *Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**

This is a full-time position, with shifts and hours of work Monday through Sunday. You must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • *Required Education and Experience**
  • High school degree
  • Previous client service experience is desirable
  • Computer experience
