About the Role

The Hardware Operations team at arenaflex is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and deploying the most advanced physical infrastructure in the technology industry. As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in installing and maintaining arenaflex's cutting-edge Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

As a Data Center Technician at arenaflex, your responsibilities will be diverse and impactful. Here's what you can expect:

• Infrastructure Deployment & Maintenance: Contribute to and lead efforts and projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of cutting-edge data center infrastructure. You'll be involved in both new installations and upgrades to existing systems.


• Technical Troubleshooting: Participate in or lead complex troubleshooting sessions to solve critical or escalated technical problems. You'll diagnose issues with servers, networks, and related hardware, using your problem-solving skills to minimize downtime.


• Hardware Testing & Validation: Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs. You'll work with cutting-edge technology before it's deployed across our global network.


• Operating System Configuration: Configure and troubleshoot Linux OS-related problems on servers. You'll use Linux tools and commands to ensure optimal system performance.


• Network Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain arenaflex's advanced Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure. You'll ensure our network operates at peak efficiency.


• Project Leadership: Participate in or lead local project teams on large installations and develop project contingency plans. Your leadership skills will shine as you coordinate with various stakeholders.


• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse stakeholders to ensure that our goals, missions, and tasks are effectively delivered—and that they're repeatable across our global array of data centers.

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring a solid foundation in technical operations and a passion for learning. To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and community problems using Linux tools. You should be comfortable working in a data center or network operations center environment.


• Hardware Expertise: Knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnosing computer, server, and network hardware. You should be able to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.


• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience. We value both formal education and real-world expertise.


• Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to approach complex technical challenges with logical thinking and systematic debugging techniques.


• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document issues and collaborate with team members.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary: The US base salary range for this full-time role is $77,000-$110,000, plus bonus and equity. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
