Position Overview


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Healthcare Data Management to lead our data adaptation and analytics initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities who can work cross-functionally across multiple departments and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in healthcare data management, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement.

As the Director of Healthcare Data Management at arenaflex, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating data adaptation opportunities, managing the functional elements of our US Healthcare Strategy group, and ensuring the successful delivery of data-driven solutions to our pharmaceutical, payer, and health system partners. You will collaborate with senior leadership to define goals and objectives, and your impact will be measurable across both short-term and long-term perspectives.

Key Responsibilities



  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across the organization, including Pharmacy, Retail, and Field Operations teams, to enhance existing data adaptation products and drive innovation in our data management offerings.

  • Process Improvement: Establish continuous improvement of data management and governance processes across the enterprise, partnering with various business lines to strengthen data adaptation products and ensure consistent quality standards.

  • Contract Analysis: Provide the Retail Strategy team with contract organization processes and analysis to ensure effective execution and management of business terms, including core analysis related to manufacturer pricing agreements.

  • Client Relationship Management: Support business relationships with existing and new data product/service clients by serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborating with various internal teams including Information Technology.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Participate in or contribute to regulatory or contractual reviews with data analysis as a Subject Matter Expert, ensuring all data practices meet industry standards and legal requirements.

  • Proposal Development: Contribute to RFP responses and Statements of Work (SOW) for new contracts as a Subject Matter Expert, helping to secure new business opportunities.

  • Matrix Coordination: Work in a matrix environment to provide shared accountability for manufacturer relationships with Purchasing, Public Records Management, and Specialty Pharmacy across pharmaceutical, payer, and health system partners.

  • Business Development: Manage channel entry business and profit effectively while developing strong relationships and communicating arenaflex needs regarding pharmaceuticals, trade, specialty, program/product development, account management, and clinical services.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional influence across arenaflex to create awareness and synergies, including Pharmacy Services, Store Operations, and Specialty divisions.

  • New Service Development: Support new business development by providing project plan and process details to create proposals for new services as well as reporting/analytical capabilities.

  • Data Governance: Advise on various data adaptation initiatives and drives (current or future) to ensure that any data-related changes and requirements are identified, communicated, documented, and managed to ensure adherence with organizational requirements and Enterprise Data Management standards.

  • Team Development: Mentor, tutor, and develop employees through guidance, training, and performance management programs to build employee confidence, motivation, and loyalty.

  • Product Delivery: Lead delivery and support of current and new Analytical products including advances in partnership with external vendors to provide data and insights to pharmaceutical, payer, and health system partners.

  • Technology Partnership: Define and partner closely with the IT team to develop and monitor metrics that impact current organizational data delivery services and analytical products.

  • Policy Compliance: Work within company guidelines concerning policies, programs, procedures, budgets, and applicable laws. Ensure the development and execution of approved manufacturer partner services are consistent with overall strategy.

Essential Qualifications



  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Collaboration Experience: Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department and company goals within budget and established timelines.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Experience in identifying management/operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues effectively.

  • Project Management: Experience with project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific project goals and objectives.

  • Program Analysis: Experience in program administration and analysis of manufacturer programs for Specialty Pharmacy services.

  • Financial Acumen: At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace, with a strong understanding of budget management and profitability.

  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience.

  • Travel Flexibility: Able to travel up to/no less than 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications



  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field

  • Experience in pharmaceutical data analytics or healthcare data management

  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex cross-functional projects

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Experience with data visualization tools and analytics platforms

  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations and management

Compensation and Benefits
